Just so you know, we are some meat eaters here in this house. Myhubby loves steak and I try to find it on sale when I can. This pastmonth I really lucked out because Krogers, my butcher, and Food Lionall had steak marked WAY down, so I loaded up on steak.
Theother night I made a fabulous steak sandwich that was made with a slabof chuck steak which I got for $2.83. I purchased a pack of hoagierolls and made some curly fries and it was THE most delicious meal wehave had in a long time!
Infact, we were able to make 8 sandwiches from just that one piece ofsteak! Here is the recipe that I would love to share with you!
Cowboy Steak Sandwich
1 chuck steak
1 pk hoagie rolls
provolone cheese
steak sauce
Grill your steak how you like it. Add seasoning to it if you prefer.
Allow steak to rest for a few minutes
Dice it up fine into small chunks.
Divide between rolls.
Place cheese on top
Broil in the oven until rolls are brown and cheese melts.
Serve with curly fries
Hope you enoy!!

Looks delicious !
That looks delish! Your new design is cute too. I guess I miss a lot when I only read blogs from Google Reader. I gotta get out more. LOL
We are a split household here — no red meat for me, but my sister makes up for it. I'll pass this one to her, she'll love it, especially since it's called cowboy and she loves cowboys almost as much as she loves steak, lol.
That looks so good. I know my husband would love it. No red meat for me but he loves it.
YUM… I think my Hubby would love that too! Great photo!
I'm having a little New Years Give away too… stop by and enter if you get a chance…
