Awhile back on Amy Bayliss’s blog, she talked about niches and who you are as a blogger. Since I read that post, I have racked my brain, prayed, and begged and pleaded within myself to find out what it is I do over here.

It finally hit me the other day at the park.

It never occurred to me how many posts I have actually written about marriage. It should have been so obvious. I am writing a book on marriage, my marriage has been to Hades and back and then some, and I share passionately about the changes God has made in my marriage. Everything else I write about revolves around marriage:

  • the food I cook
  • raising our kids
  • dating my husband
  • books I read

It just seems like everything I do is related to marriage.

So here is where YOU come in.

What would you like to see discussed on For Such a Time as This?

  • More recipes?
  • More marriage tips?
  • More homeschooling tips?

I want to hear from you! Tell me what you want to read about on here. I am all ears.

    I recommend writing about marriage.

Blog about marriage as your response the call in Titus 2: 3-5 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

Even the youngest wives are called to teach the younger women – even the teenagers before marriage! In my opinion, the work has only just begun and there is lots of room for more marriage blogs – written by women, for women and spreading gospel principles regarding marriage. My blog is centered on the passage in Ephesians 5:33b where wives are told to respect their husbands. Seemingly small niche – yet limitless.

Marriage blogs are not in competition with one another – we are all working toward the same goal – to glorify God through our efforts in upholding His Word.
