Chocolate Whipped Topping

My daughter found the easiest way to make chocolate whipped topping. Of course, she loves the heavy cream that you use to make your own whipped topping, but she has a secret ingredient for making her whipped topping sweet and chocolaty.

Wanna know what it is?

Simply make your whipped topping and add one packet of hot cocoa mix to the bowl and you will have yourself chocolate whipped topping!

We used it to top a chocolate cake I made when I had no chocolate frosting, or anything to make frosting. It turned out delicious!

That is so easy! I never cook with cocoa, but maybe I’ll think about it more often now :)

well..that is simply genius! i would have never thought of it…now i am thinking i can take my malted powder and make malted whipped cream…oh yum! thank you for sharing the fabulous idea with tuesday night supper club!
