Having Fun at the Birthday “Paw”ty

A couple of weeks ago, my little dude turned two years old!

It’s hard to believe he is already two! He came to us when he was 6 months old. I immediately fell in love with him and we have been inseparable. I knew we had to do something really special for his special day.

First off, Kayla made him a super plate of all his favorite fridge foods.

He loved his yummy lunch! Then Kayla and I had the bright idea to look online for homemade dog birthday cakes. Did you know there are all kinds of recipes for homemade dog birthday cakes?

We got in the kitchen and cooked that pup his very own birthday cake to have at his “paw”ty. We invited the other dogs as well. Puff and Ruffles were just as excited as Tucker was!

Kayla lit the candles and we sang him “Happy Birthday”.

After singing and blowing out the candles, it was time for the pups to get their slice of the cake!

After eating cake and playing with his buddies, Tucker decided that his fun “paw”ty must now come to an end. He snuggled close to his mommy (me) and went sound to sleep.

Tongue and all!

I’ve always wanted to try making Bailey homemade dog treats or bday cake. go you for actually doing it! I usually just buy Bailey’s bday cake from a local bakery. lol :) Happy bday to your pup!

This is such a fun post! I am going to throw my favorite dogs a pawty this very weekend. Your 2-year-old and his tongue are the cutest.

This is a lovely idea. I have two little yorkies and the oldest one, Cody, had a birthday this week. He’s a little overweight, so no cake for him, but there just may be a paw-ty in his future! Thanks for linking up to Sunday Art Therapy at Seeds on a Breeze. I hope you link up again this week.
