This morning, I decided to re-read my testimony. If any of you have not read it, I encourage you to do so. If you have ever wondered whether God was real or not, my testimony will make you understand that GOD IS REAL. It got me to thinking – Do you ever just miss the old days?

The old days I’m talking about are not the days before Christ came into my heart, but those simple days afterwards — the ones where you did nothing but focused on Him and what He wants for your life. Those are the days that I miss.

I think about that when I write on this blog. I used to share SO much of myself here and I have noticed that more and more I have disappeared and this other person has taken residence. I don’t know who she is. I miss the other Jennifer and  I think it’s time to bring her back.

I love who I am and I don’t understand for the life of me why I feel like I need to change and match everyone else. I was born to stand out. God has always made me different and it’s time I stop trying to be like the Joneses and just be myself.
