I was provided a copy of Deadly Devotion from Revell Books in order to write this review. No other compensation was made and all opinions remain my own.
When I first opened the pages of Deadly Devotion by Sandra Orchard, my very first initial thought was, “Why have I not read any of her books before?” From the very first page I was hooked!
I am a huge fan of romance/suspense thrillers. Those are my favorite kind to read. They give just a hint of spine tingling mystery, and then the romance — which is my all time favorite part.
One thing I love about Sandra, after reading her bio is that she was a homeschooling mom! Any mom who follows their true passion while homeschooling has my vote. Her bio inspired me — really (you can find it below).
I really enjoy getting to read new authors, and Sandra is a new author for me. This book’s plot was full of mystery and suspense from page one! I had thought for a long time I knew who was behind it all, but my first guess was totally off! One thing I loved was how everything clicked and made sense in the end.
Sandra knows how to end a chapter in a way that you don’t want to put the book down because you have to see what happens next. I can’t wait for the next book in the series especially after the teaser in the back.
I would highly recommend Deadly Devotion to anyone who enjoys a good Christian suspense novel.

About the book
Kate knows the truth is out there-but if she’s right, that means a killer is out there too.

Though an old buddy gave him a job as a detective on the local police force, not everyone approves. About the Author
Sandra Orchard is an award-winning author of Christian romantic suspense. She writes for Harlequin’s Love Inspired Suspense line, and Revell Publishing. A member of ACFW, RWA and The Word Guild (Canada), Sandra loves to encourage other writers in their journey. Although she’d always dreamed of being a writer, she majored in math at university and didn’t think she had enough imagination to write fiction. While homeschooling her children, she wrote curriculum and reviews and read…a lot. When her husband, frustrated by the growing book piles, suggested she write her own, little did he know what he’d started! She lives in Niagara, Canada with her real-life-hero husband of more than twenty-five years, and now writes full time…when not doting on their first grandchild.
