One of my all time favorite salads now is 4 simple ingredients — tomato slices, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, and olive oil. It is light, delicious, and very filling. I took those 4 ingredients and created this Tomato Basil and Mozzarella Salad.
Right now, tomatoes are in season here, and I eat them on everything. I just cannot get enough. But — when paired with fresh mozzarella and then drizzled with Bertolli Olive Oil, it’s like a burst of freshness in your mouth with every single bite.
- 2 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
- Fresh Basil Leaves
- 1 ball of fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1 bottle of Bertolli Olive Oil
- Take the tomatoes and mozzarella and pair them together. Sprinkle the fresh basil leaves on top and then season with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle the entire salad with Bertolli Olive Oil and then enjoy!
