I have written this post on behalf of BlogPaws Pet Blogger Network. I am being compensated for helping spread the word about Royal Canin , but Jen’s Journey only shares information I feel is relevant to our readers.
Back in May my daughter and I rescued a baby kitten that came to our home. It was stinkin hot here in Kentucky and she had found refuge and shelter underneath one of my hosta plants. When we arrived home from vacation — there she was, small, frail, hurt, abused, and neglected. Our hearts immediately went out to her. We brought her in and nursed her back to health and she has been with us ever since.
She came right in and settled in right from the get go. My daughter is her “mom” and they both truly love each other. My husband on the other hand, is not a big cat fan and he was not to keen on Mittens staying with us, but he saw the love in my daughter’s heart and he finally gave in.
The funny thing is that the cat adores him, so he has learned to love her too — just like us.
She has truly stolen all of our hearts and we want to make sure that she stays around awhile (even Tucker likes her!). One thing we have found out though is that she LOVES the Christmas tree. God help me that I can keep her out of it. Daily she loves to “jingle” the ornaments. She is definitely a spitfire!

RoyalCanin® has something special for cat owners. If you go to their Facebook page you will get a coupon for $7. Off a bag of food. That’s an incredible deal and a nice incentive to try the food. I can tell you that if you try it, you will love it (my mother-in-law’s cat uses it and loves it).
