The Kids
It seems like it was just yesterday that I became a mom for the first time. However, almost 17 years have passed since that has happened. It still seems so unreal that my baby is almost grown.
Meet Robert–17 years old
Or at least he will be in just a couple of months! 
He has a heart of gold and loves to serve God in any capacity he can. He has always been one of those kids that tries hard, and loves to help people out whenever he can. He is currently trying to decide what he wants to do when he graduates school. He has one year to make up his mind. Hopefully whatever he chooses will be the work that God wants him to do.
Meet Kayla-age 13
Kayla is pretty much my sidekick!
She has her momma’s temper, loves animals with a passion, and is totally head over heels in love with Big Time Rush! She is a superhero freak (as you can tell from her Batman hoodie in the photo). She loves God with a passion and does her absolute best when it comes to school.
The older they get, the more I learn that they are not growing up to leave the nest, but the new era of being friends with my children will begin. It’s a scary thought, but one that I know God will use to draw us closer.
