I received an electronic copy of Dancing With Fireflies from Litfuse Publicity. All opinions listed are 100% my own.
When I started reading this book, I was drawn in. I immediately liked Jade. She is a tough Christian girl and to deal with all that she has had to deal with in her life — well — let’s just say, she is a much stronger person that I think I ever could be.
I received a copy of A Sky Without Stars in exchange for this review. All opinions listed are 100% my own.
I received a copy of The Devil Walks in Mattingly in exchange for this review. All opinions listed are 100% my own.
I am a sucker for a great suspense novel, and this one fits the bill perfectly. As a thriller, The Devil Walks in Mattingly, hooks you in immediately — right from the get go.
You know something strange is going on, and that a seriously terrible secret is being hidden, however Coffey keeps you guessing. He feeds you just enough information to leave you hungry and wanting more. He creatively lays out the story to keep you on the edge. I seriously LOVE this story!
I received an electronic copy of It Had to Be You by Susan May Warren in exchange for this review. All opinions listed are 100% my own.
It Had to Be You is the second book in the Christiansen Family series and one that I truly enjoyed. I really loved this book. I am a huge hockey fan (GO PREDS!) so as soon as I started reading and found out hockey was involved, I couldn’t put it down.
Okay ladies — I am totally preaching to the choir on this one — because I need this post as MUCH as you do. As you know, I work from home as a blogger and writer. Last year, I did that on top of working for someone else online and it really caused me a TON of stress that almost cost me my health. I took some steps to help me balance things out, so I thought I would share with you how to balance your work at home life too.
I was provided a copy of Scraps of Evidence in exchange for my review. All opinions listed are 100% my own.
Scraps of Evidence: A Quilt of Love book.
Tess has taken some ribbing from her fellow officer, Logan, for her quilting hobby. He finds it hard to align the brisk professional officer he patrols with during the day with the one who quilts in her off-time. Besides, he’s been trying to get to know her better and he’d like to be seeing her during those couple nights a week she spends with her quilting guild.
I received a copy of Distortion (Moonlighters Series)
in exchange for my review. All opinions listed are 100% my own.
I have been reading Terri Blackstock novels since I got saved back years ago. She has always been one of my favorite authors! In her newest novel, I just could not put this book down. I read it all in less than 24 hours — it is THAT good.
I received a copy of Say Goodbye to Survival Mode in exchange for my review of them. All opinions listed are 100% my own.
I woke up one morning and could barely open my eyes. My body was screaming at me to just stay in bed, but I knew I had SO much I had to do. I had to get my work done online for the company I was working for, I had about 4 blog posts of my own that were due, 3 loads of laundry that had to be washed, dried, and folded, and I had to drive my daughter an hour away to a friends house.
My life was seriously hectic and I was running on fumes — and then I heard about Crystal Paine’s book –Say Goodbye to Survival Mode — and I desperately wanted to feel that — experience that.
I received a copy of The Dream Dress (Weddings by Design Book #3): A Novel
in exchange for my review. All opinions listed are 100% of my own.
I love Janice Thompson! She is one of my favorite Christian authors and her wedding dress series books really get me excited for my own vow renewal in October!
In this book, we meet Gabi. Now — I can totally relate to Gabi, because here she is working in a wedding dress shop as a seamstress and she secretly designs her own wedding dresses, hoping one day to be able to have her own dress designs chosen. I totally know what it’s like to work for someone else doing the very thing you want to do for yourself. It totally sucks.
And it doesn’t help when you have a boss who is a jerk — which is what Gabi has to work for.
I received The Sinners’ Garden from Litfuse in exchange for writing this review. All opinions listed are 100% my own.
This is the first book that I have ever read by William Sirls. He is such an amazing writer. I loved how this story had a hint of mystery behind it and the characters really make the story come alive.
This story has something for everyone: love, acceptance, forgiveness, how the past can haunt your present, and even a big mystery thrown in. I think just about anyone could enjoy this book.
I read this book from cover to cover in 3 days. I just could not put it down.
