A couple of months ago I had THE worst thing in the world happen to me when I went shopping. Earlier that day, I had been going through my purse while I was at home. I had pulled all my credit cards out, and cleaned out my entire purse. Little did I know, my one credit card that I use all the time had fallen out on the floor. When I got to the store, I shopped like I normally planned to do. When I got to the cash register to pay for my purchases, I realized I didn’t have the card and had to leave all my purchases behind. It was horrible.
My husband and I were talking the other night after a day of Christmas shopping, grocery shopping, and paying bills. We were looking at the checkbook and finally came to the conclusion that something is going to have to give for 2015. We want to make sure that we have enough money to pay our bills, and yet, have money to live on comfortably — you know — financial peace. These are the steps that we are taking to set ourselves up for financial success in 2015.
I shopped savvy using Walmart Saving Catcher, as part of a sponsored post for Crowdtap. #WMTSavingsCatcher
The other day I had some shopping to do at Walmart. Now — I don’t know if you are like me at all, but when it comes to my groceries and stuff — I am a serious penny pincher. I do all the coupon shopping, the price matching, and the price comparisons I can do. However, now that I know about the Walmart Savings Catcher — my job at saving money just got a whole lot easier.

Father’s Day is coming up pretty quickly and I am so excited that I get to shop for my husband. Besides his birthday, Father’s Day is my favorite day to spoil him. We buy him gifts, cook him his favorite steak dinner, and take him fishing. He feels like a King after we get done with him.
This year, Best Buy is where I am headed for his Father’s Day present.

We have been dying to get Mittens her very own cat tower. She loves to lay high atop anything that is in the house and look down. It’s just in her nature, so we started looking in the stores to find her the perfect cat tower. Little did I know a cat tower WILL break the bank — seriously! Have you seen the cost of these things lately? After doing some research at different stores, we decided to try shopping online and found some great coupon codes to use at PromotionalCodes.com.
As a parent, you have a million and one things to prepare for every day. Simply getting yourself and your child up and dressed can be enough of a challenge, so it is easy to understand how some things can be overlooked. There’s often a long list of things to remember, including the numerous financial demands that come from your child’s school.

I have two teenagers living in my household. We homeschool, so talking about money, credit cards, and banking are usually current topics around our breakfast and dinner table. Neither of my kids have a checking account, but they are always wanting to buy things online. I don’t like to let them use my credit card, so I am glad that there are companies like Card.com so that they can have their own prepaid debit card without the hassle of a checking account.

My son and daughter have grown up with Capri Sun products in our home. From the time that they were old enough to drink from a straw, they were a part of our lunchtime or travel time plans. Now that they are older and into their teens, those small drinks are just not big enough to quench their thirst. Thankfully, now there is Capri Sun Big Pouch.
