What a testimony indeed! I too was looking at a recipe and saw Testimony. I love to read how people have gotten to where they are especially if GOD is the reason for it all. You both carried a lot of baggage but seems you let GOD work it out in the end.

Jennifer, Amazing! simply amazing! I guess I knew some of this but never heard your story in its entirety. You should share this every chance you get. It seems we all have to go through nasty, painful and tiresome stuff before coming to the end of ourselves. Of course for Tracey and I we did in fact divorce, but God saw fit to put us back together and it will be 11yrs. this July 31st. I just wanted to write and thank you for your openness because, as you know, being transparent is what it takes to help others. Thanks again, and tell Stephen I said “What’s up?”

I stumbled across your blog while looking for a tomato soup recipe. I certainly found more than a recipe, which was delicious by the way. I read your story while eating the soup. I am so happy for you, Stephen and your children. God has blessed you. You are living proof that God can pull you over any hurdle in life. Stephen sure is a keeper, I’m glad you didn’t toss him back in the water. Hang onto that one!

Not many people would be so honest and explain how GOD can work his magic in detail. This is a quality not many possess these days, bless your heart. I am so happy for him sending me to you, just looking for a recipe and yours was the first I recieved. That is how he works sometimes. Troubled waters come and go, working through things one day at a time with my husband, family. I have not been well for the last few years and beginning to try his patience a bit. There are some things you have said that will probably help a great deal. GOD bless you and your family.

i found your site via the name our app contest i participated in. i think i may have won – BUT – i think the real reason i found your site was to read this. although my issues aren’t regarding marriage, i definitely have them. there’s a lot riding on my shoulders right now, but instead of giving it to God, i’ve been hiding at home, trying to sleep my worries away. your testimony brought tears to my eyes and reminded me of something i never should have forgotten: God is ALWAYS there to carry us through the hard times, but only if we let Him.
